How to Fill Your Candy Vending Machine (Candy Wheel Preinstalled)

This video will show you how to fill your new Candy Vending Machine with a candy wheel preinstalled.

Before You Begin

Your machine is equipped with a candy wheel, which is designed to dispense:

  • Small loose candy
  • Skittles®
  • Mike and Ike's®
  • Nuts
  • Similar-sized products

Important: A candy wheel cannot dispense 1-inch gumballs or 1-inch toy capsules.

If you want to vend 1-inch gumballs or toy capsules, you'll need our Gumball Vending Machine, which comes with a gumball wheel preinstalled.

Understanding the Candy Wheel

The candy wheel consists of two parts:

  • Brush Plate
  • Adjustable Wheel

The adjustable wheel lets you control how much candy is dispensed with each turn.

Before filling the machine, verify that the wheel is properly aligned.

The three openings should be positioned at approximately:

  • 10 o'clock
  • 2 o'clock
  • 6 o'clock

Filling the Machine

Step 1: Remove the Lid

Turn the top lock counterclockwise until the lid is free, then remove the lid.

Step 2: Fill with Candy

After confirming the wheel is properly aligned, pour the candy into the globe.

In this example, 3 pounds of Runts® are shown.

The machine holds approximately 10–12 pounds of loose candy, depending on the product.

Step 3: Replace the Lid

Place the lid back on the machine.

Turn the lock clockwise until it is snug.

Do not overtighten the lock. Turn it only until you feel slight resistance, then turn the key back to the nearest key-removal position.

You're Ready!

Your candy vending machine is now ready to use.
